Matt Rogalsky is a sound artist and composer of electroacoustic music for live performance and installation.

Born in Umuahia in 1966, he grew up in Ottawa, Kuantan, Winnipeg, Nairobi and Vancouver.In Vancouver, between 1985 and 1991, he studied interactive computer music and tuning systems with Martin Bartlett, direct computer synthesis and tape-based composition with Barry Truax, and also worked with George Lewis and Pauline Oliveros during their residencies at the university. Between 1993 and 1995, Rogalsky did an MA at Wesleyan University, continuing composition and installation work with Ron Kuivila and Alvin Lucier.

He is currently based in Cambridge, England. Recent activities include performances in the third FLEA Festival at Experimental Intermedia (NYC), Apollohuis (Eindhoven), Fletch Bizzel (Dortmund) and Logos (Gent), and residencies at Mills College Center for Contemporary Music in Oakland, and Western Front in Vancouver.
